National Tree Day

Tree Planting on Sunday 30 July starting at the Arboretum at 9am. – Volunteers Needed!

The Arboretum has been donated 100 plants (mainly indigenous shrubs) which we will plant in the Arboretum and in other approved parts of Pearl Beach.

Arborist’s Talk and Morning Tea in the Arboretum from 11am. – All welcome.

Last year we asked the Pearl Beach community to submit images of your favourite tree – the results are above.

This year we have Prize Money (on behalf of PBEG Inc) for the best photo and/or artwork of a tree!

Please submit a high-resolution photo of a tree – a photo of your tree inspired artwork – or your tree poem - to pearlbeachenvironmentgroup@gmail.com

Must be received by midnight Thursday 27 July 2023.

Include your name, email address, phone number and the Title of the Work.

A short paragraph, poem or quote can also be included with a photo or artwork image – or it can be on its own.

The decision of the anonymous judges will be final. The images will be displayed on the Arboretum and PBPA websites and via social media.

Joint copyright will rest with the Artists, Photographer, Arboretum and Progress Association.
