Kasia Niedzielak 2

20_Bush Tucker Society

Nature & Nurture: bush tucker is about as natural as can be, and has, for thousands of years provided the sustenance for our indigenous peoples. Kasia is inspired by both the beauty and potential of many Australian native bush seeds, and in these works has chosen to sculpt from wool and plant fibres the pods from which life-sustaining seeds emerge and bush foods that heal and nourish.
“I create my artwork to inspire the imagination and to craft the magical environment in which kids and adults become full of wonder. My artworks are made with natural and biodegradable wool and plant fibres, allowing 3 dimensional sculptures to become one with the natural environment.”

Kasia Neidzielak is a local, emerging artist who lives at Umina Beach. Since discovering wool as a preferred medium, she has ‘absolutely’ fallen in love with it and is now extending her interpretations.
