Alba Tree - Community Art Project on National Tree Day

The Alba Tree is a Central Coast community art project that will be celebrated at an opening event on National Tree Day — Sunday, July 27 10am to 12pm in the Pearl Beach Arboretum. Australia’s largest annual nature care event, National Tree Day, encourages people to reflect on the role of trees in our lives—not just through planting, but by honouring, protecting, and reconnecting with the natural world.

The Alba Tree is a large steel structure, enhanced with driftwood. It will be brought to life with handcrafted clay leaves made by members of the community. The project is part of Council's Creative Art Central program and is inspired by the word "Alba," meaning dawn. Like the first light of day, it represents growth, change, and transformation. It will come to life over a two-week period as it is built and displayed in the heart of The Arboretum at Pearl Beach.

Please RSVP to the Opening Event on Sunday, July 27 10am to 12pm in the Pearl Beach Arboretum via this LINK. There will be music and refreshments.
