Arboretum Anniversary BYO Picnic

Sunday 18 August 2024 11.30am for 12pm

Including the opening of our new verandah / pavilion by Liesl Tesch. member for Gosford, at 12.30pm.

Every year in August we celebrate the founding of the Crommelin Native Arboretum at Pearl Beach in 1976. All are welcome. Please bring your own chairs, tables and picnic. Tea, coffee and cake will be provided - and some live music by Phil and Lynette Rich. Sorry no dogs allowed in the Arboretum due to our wildlife. Best parking is in Opal Close.

The Pearl Beach Arboretum we all love today has been created and managed entirely by community volunteers on land owned by Central Coast Council.

The Arboretum has had many generous donations and grants over the years from private individuals and entities and from government agencies. We are very grateful to grants from the NSW Government, the Bendigo Bank, which, together with private donations. have helped us create our new verandah/pavilion which can be used for environmental education and community events.
