The passing of Carol Serventy

Very sadly Carol Serventy, patron of the Crommelin Native Arboretum passed away yesterday. She had been patron from about 2008. She worked with us in the Arboretum for many, many years. While she moved to live with her family in Lismore several years ago, she has been in our thoughts since. Our condolences to her family.

Carol was a well respected wildlife conservation expert working with her husband Vincent Serventy on several books. She also had a distinguished career in Australia and Internationally on museum councils and related organisations.

The photo below of Robert Bell, Robert Payne and Carol Serventy was taken in August 2016.
